So the main difference seems to be in the minor sizing differences, included loops etc, and cat cuts.
Did he say that there was a difference between a cat cut & square? I heard that cuben doesn't stretch, so tarp tensioners were not needed. But, in your experience, does the cut affect the wind deflection?

    I have one on order

My Zpacks tarp should be done this week. I had Joe make it large, just like my Superfly. Ridgeline will be bonded and sewn. Joe will also do the seam sealing (I'm not very good at that). No cat cuts. I'll post pics once I get it.

the new to me oes from hurtinfeet should get here tomorrow.
still not knowing if cuben is for me - i'm interested to handle the stuff,
see brians cuben work and dimensions choices, as well as get a grasp
of the material weight - .74.

anyone watching this thread....i'm a revolving gear cycle, so we'll see how long it stays in my hands.

You and me both. I have an OES Cuben in a MacCat Standard size. I really like. So light, it's what I bring with me the most.

BTW, thanks for the Cuben HG Incubator. Looks awesome! I have not had a chance to try it yet but I am looking forward to it.

I have one of Joe's tarps w/doors & love the thing. No problems so far with a sewn ridge line or leaking after seam sealing.

I know it's not a zpack tarp, but here is another cuben hammock tarp to check out. I have been pleased with the stuff I have bought here.
