    Welcome to the madness. I will be visiting family in northern Utah south Idaho later this year. I want to hike and hang while I'm there. I see there is a few Utahans here I'll have to hit you guys up for some good hiking trails.

    welcome from louisiana. I have eyebolts in my bedroom walls for my hammock, and it does not seem to cause any problems with the walls.

    Hanging corner to corner in the room will be more secure if the size/arrangement of the room allows it. A block of wood screwed into two studs in the corner(if there) makes a sturdy place to anchor.
