When Tivo first came out, I gave a rather enthusiastic speech about it in my Toastmasters club. A few people called me that. I started using it on other sites. No one calls me that any more, but I still use it for screen names. Short, simple, and I do LOVE my TiVo.

I received mine when I was in collage. I kept waring this tee shirt with a large shark on the front. Imagine an image of a Great White shark head with it's mouth wide open on a slight angle to the right.

I wore it so much, that one of my classmates decided to start calling me "The Great White" and of course other people started to call me that as well. It just stuck with me.

I picked it for the forum due to the fact that I don't like using names that are not given to me.

My scouts are always saying I look like a bear burrito in my hammock. Especially with my DIY hammock sock (thanks for the idea Risk & Just Jeff).

I have converted some of the scouts to hanging but most remain ground sleepers. I hate the occasional camporee where I have to go to ground since they always seem to be in big fields! Gotta start working on TurtleLady's tripod hammock stand!

Ratamahatta is a song from a brazilan band Sepultura, it's heavy just the way I like it!
Maybe John Anderson was onto something when he sang "Just A Swingin"!

So mine is the genus for honeybees. I grew up around them...about 2 dozen hives worth.

    Hi all.

When I started using the internet back in college in the 90s, compressed audio formats like mp3 were just starting to get standardized. There was a format called mp3pro which was the format of choice for a mIRC group that I was a part of. In the spirit of mp3pro, I came up with the username mp3prozac and have been using it online ever since.

About 4 years ago, I got shot in the face with a 12 ga. slug at point blank range. (long story)

200 some odd hours of surgery and 4 years later and I'm still kicking. The good news is that coming so close to death made me look at the world in a whole different way. Kinda like going from black and white to color.

Just thought the screen name fit.

Kind of self explanatory , firefighter paramedic although I don't medic anymore. I have used the handle for years.

I can think up some different ones but I forget them. So it stays with this one.
