My wife says I'm her cowboy, and she calls me hubs (short for husband). It's a pretty fail safe user name when I need to create an account for something.

I got this nick name early. Lash LaRue was a character in B westerns in the 40's and 50's.

Mine comes from Barnabas, nicknamed the thirteenth apostle. He traveled with the apostle Paul on his first missionary journey. His name translates to "the son of encouragement"

1898 is the year my fraternity Phi Mu Alpha was formed.

    Grok

Robert Heinlien wrote a beautiful book. "Stranger in a Strange Land". To 'GROK' is to know something entirely. To know something on a micro googleplex. Grok is nothing I will ever be but I strive towards.

While I was growing up, I disappeared into the woods whenever I got the chance. My mom would ask where Troy was & my dad would say probably Woods Walking.

I started using the name years ago on other forum boards, if you see a Woods Walker on a canoe, camping, video, photographer or other outdoor forums good chance its me.

Nothing better in the world than walking through the woods, except maybe paddling through them & then hanging in them

Tonks is from Tonka Toys. Heavy duty equipment in miniature that is fun. It's my dog's name, Tonka, he is a French Bulldog. Built out like the big bad bulldogs, strong and ferocious, just toy sized.

Mine came from the popular apple iPod, iPad, iMac, etc. I am a musician in a rokk band, and I've always spelled it "rokk" for no particular reason. Not only that, but when I perform, I like to really put on a show. Besides, iRokk makes more sense to me than the names of all that apple junk when you read it aloud!
I may be dumb, but at least I'm ugly!

I've done so much, with so little, for so long, now I can do anything with nothing.

It's not peer pressure, it's just your turn.
