I hang up at cranberry down to 55 with nothing under me. I have a big Agnes bag so really just two layers of fabric. It only gets cool in the wee hour or so before sunrise. I have a 40 degree uq and when I sleep with that in mild temps I do it for the wind.

Welcome....I'm also from the Finger Lakes area. There are about five or six other hangers in my town. We do quite a bit of hiking/backpacking on the Finger Lakes Trail. In fact four of us were hanging on the trail last weekend....even had a little snow.

I live about 5 miles from the Finger Lakes National Forest. My go to spot for camping, wandering, and hunting.

Welcome! Quite a few of us from the area, or nearby. The FLNF is a great place. I used to spend quite a bit of time there.
