    Since everybody else is chiming in, I will add my nickel of advice;

    1) Wool
    2) separate sleeping clothes
    3) 3-season: soap & water and/or baby wipes before bed
    4) winter: baby wipes before bed
    5) Even with all the above; after a week you won't notice your own funk.
    I ride a recumbent.
I like to HAM it up on the CW.
    I use Linux.
    I play go.
Of course I sleep in a hammock!

I would also suggest if you can't do the soap and water to try good old baking soda like( arm & hammer) on you arm pit and chest area to kill the bacteria. Its all I use instead of deodorant and I never stink. Picked up the trick from some hunters that didn't want to drive the deer away with commercial deodorants.(may want to test at home though, some people with sensitive skin can't use it ) Do not put it around your private parts though , I would use baby wipes for that or carry a weak iodine /soap mix or a betadine antiseptic solution in conjunction with wet wipes if your the sweaty sort on an extended hike prone to jock itch or athletes foot ...this is good for wiping either area and avoiding fungus and keeping clean. Can be found in the area near alcohol or peroxide at a place like Walmart for @$6 for a little bottle or if your wanting a larger quantity for less money at a vet supply store for $11 for a gallon.
I would think though as suggested by the others that changing clothes before bed and at least airing out the dirty cloths at a minimum would be the best bet option.

Sleep in the buff man. With warm enough hammock insulation you can go to sleep neked till like freezing. Scrub yourself down, change you sock, set your stanky clothes out to dry and snuggle in to your warm top quilt.

In winter just wear your outer layer (jacket, wind pants, etc) so you don't get too cold. But if Bama's anything like Georgia, it ain't even cold yet, nor will it get cold probably.

I has this corpsy foot in my bag after 8 days in the Linville Gorge.
True....you do quit smelling except for the occasional waft on a roll-over in the TQ.

+1 on the merino wool underwear and T shirt, 150 weight, Icebreaker brand works great

Merino wool underwear; try a bag liner INSIDE the TQ .... let that take the funk that's left, not the TQ. +1 on the Baby Wipes, too. But you would be very surprised how good you feel in almost freezing water! Take a dip! And how warm you feel getting out of it, and back into the hammock! LOL!

    These have SOOOOOOOooo many uses.

I'm a sweater and a stinker so I have come to accept the fact that things aren't going to smell like roses when I'm in the woods.

    My hiking partners may disagree.

I can vouch for this... I set up downwind and kepting a woft of something

This is why deoderant is a must for me.. I don't have bad BO anyways but I do sweat a lot and appreciate an antipersperant.

    My quilt does not stink
