Its in the glue I tell ya!

Serial lurker, part time poster and as a lurker, I have read numberous articles that helped me a BUNCH. I am getting ready for the Extreme hunt that I am sure Rat has posted somewhere and in that I have (pictures to come) put together an underquilt and finished skins for my BBSF last night. I am doing skins for the hammock tonight. Bla Bla Bla.........

Purpose of the post is that I found an alternative to pins and needles. HOT GLUE! Put a dab on your seams and use the tip to smear it around and press your seams together. After you have "glued" your seams, you simply can run your seams through the machine.

Careful...some tapes and adhesives will stick to the needle and gum things up. If it works, though, two thumbs up...I love my glue gun!

If you just "tack" the edge of the material with a little bit of glue and being mindful of keeping the needle away, it works wonders. I was cutting off most of my "tacks" after sewing
