Maybe some velcro tabs every 8 inches sewn to the hammock and fly, then a pieces of silnylon cut to the shape.

You might want to use something other than silnylon for the breath bib. Sil is so slippery that condensed/frozen breath moisture will slide down with any movement. The frost from your breath would end up on your face or neck! Try fleece instead - it gives the ice something on which to grip.

Great trip report, dude! Nice going! Every hang is a learning hang.....

One trick I have tried, and will do again, is using one of those mouth/nose filter masks like the doctor's office, or painters use. A box of 'em is fairly cheap at any pharmacy. It warms up the air coming into/onto your mouth and nose, and stops it from blowing out across your TQ, creating a mini-snowfall. Cheap, relatively effective, makes you look cool, too!

    Nice report and pics!

    Beautiful

I wish the snow were closer to me. I'd be there every weekend.

Thanks for the pictures and lessons.

    tips

    Thanks all for the tips,

I think i will try out the thin fleece material first as a breath bib.

Skypainter, the mask is a good idea, but i am a fussy sleeper and i dont think i would like something attached to my face like that. But if all else fails....
