So I'm headed to Union City, GA this afternoon for this weekend's zombie run (runforyourlife.com). I have to be there at 6 AM so we're gonna be camping tonight. Who knew we'd be getting some nasty storms. LOL! Just my luck. Anyway, this is just a .... where I'm going and if no one hears from me, a what must've happened post. LOL!
Have fun, and good luck staying dry. It's much easier to stay dry in a hammock sleeping nice and toasty warm and dry above the flood.

Well we survived.
Storms stayed just to the north of us most of the night. Wind was crazy though. However about 3 AM the wind shifted and started blowing in the head end of the tarp. I jumped up and closed in the ends to make "doors". However, lightning was popping ALL around me. It knocked out a generator a few hundred yards from me. That's when I bailed for the car. I know my limits.
Anyway, we're safe and had a good time. Just still trying to recover from the run.
