    Cuben Fiber / Nylon Hybrid Hammock

    If this has already been discussed please point me to the thread, but this fabric seems like it would have some potential for hammocks.

    I've seen several threads discussing how standard cuben failed when used as a hammoc.,This stuff has the weight advantage, but with added strength.

    Thoughts?

    I think it is heavier than most material used for hammocks (2.92oz sq yd)

    huh. go figure. lighter stuff + stuff already used for hammocks = heavier fabric.
