    Welcome from Georgia!

Welcome and keep watching the videos and other forums on the site, it's a fantastic place with so much information! Watch for an upcoming "hang" near you and go spend some time and meet other hangers and you will be amazed at how many cool things there are to learn.

    Peggy29forever,
As someone said, the Clark in itself isn't going to be warm enough on the bottom without some kind of insulation. It has pockets, which you can stuff with clothes, to help. The wind/air circulation on the bottom will cause cooling. It's kind of designed as an 'all-in-one' solution, with an integrated tarp. Another feature is that it has poles to spread out the interior. Go back to the Clark Thread to ask more questions about it, if you'd like.

You can start out with less money involved in hanging by buying the componets separate and trying them out. $25 hammock, $10 blue tarp, $10 CCF pad. See if you like it, then you'll have a better idea of where & what you want to upgrade.

Go to the hang mentioned in this thread, even for a day, and you'll get educated fast. Then you can make an informed decision.

Welcome Peggy, from a neighbor in north Ga. I have the CJH NX 250 and love it. I hate to say it though, you still need to trick it out, whoopie slings etc.. But I do believe it is the most complete system on the market and in a class by itself. I have camped in temps as low as 40 degrees just with clothes in the pockets and an over quilt and was comfortable. A lot depends on you. I bought my daughter and son in law one also, they love them too. Lots of info here, just keep reading and learning, or ask more questions. You wont find a better bunch of people than on this forum. Soon you will be addicted also!!
