SOLD : Bud Light Alcohol Stoves

For sale: I have 11 of these alcohol stoves that I want to sell. These are made from Bud Light aluminum bottles. It's a 2 piece design with a rolled edge. They are 2 inches high and 2 1/2 inches wide. Fuel capacity is 2 oz total. Fuel used is HEET in the yellow bottle or denatured alcohol. It doesnt work very well with rubbing alcohol - leaves a sooty mess on your pot.

Bloom time is 20 seconds if you prime and 43 seconds if you just light it without priming. These stoves are meant to be used with pots with a 5 inch or smaller bottom. Weight is 1 oz. Boils 2 cups cold water in 4:25 on 1 oz of fuel. Flame out is 10:20

Burn time is double if you use 2 oz of fuel.

By priming, I mean that a small splash of alcohol at the base of the stove along with 1 oz of fuel poured into the stove and both lit off, the bloom will happen in 20 seconds. You don't have to prime it if you don't want to, but it is more efficient this way - less fuel burned.

You must use a windscreen if using outdoors. All my testing is done indoors under "ideal conditions" - in other words on top of my counter. Outside conditions will vary with the type of windscreen you use.

The stove in the picture is not one of the stoves for sale - all the stoves for sale are new and unused.

Price is $6.00 each and $1.00 shipping in the USA only. Buy 2 or more stoves and shipping is free.

I have 6 blue and 5 red. PayPal is preferred. Please indicate what color you would like. I thank you.

Man if you can roll the top edge why not just make one piece stove the bloom times will be lower and simpler to make

Beware of the man who owns one gun, he probably shoots it well.

I took these stoves in partial trade for some web work I did for someone. I kept 2 for myself and I'm just trying to recoup some of the money from the others. It wasn't a very good deal I'm afraid.

I wish to apologize to the mods and also to the forum members. I have been warned (rightly) by the mods for selling all these stoves. I did not make them and only took them on trade for work done. I'm only trying to recoup some of my loses. The mods have graciously allowed me to finish selling them and I appreciate it very much. It won't happen again.
