    Websites

I want to echo what started all this. On WB JustJeff posed the question about websites and who had any relating to Hammocking. I think it would be a good idea to continue that here as well.

Here is mine. It is a work in progress so it is not comple yet but it works.

Not a problem. Take your time. I may be changing hosts after I get a bit more familiar with phpbb (Whiteblaze Hosting ) I may even migrate to vBulletin. I am thinking about this site and Rocks being geared more towards general hammocking and mine focusing more on long distance use. It seems that alot of the hammock people are migrating here from WB and I want to give them a voice in long distance use of the hammock. I know WB is geared toward the AT so I am hoping to get users that use the other long trails.

Good luck. I created a web site for other long distance trails that could be thru hiked and it flopped. In fact it is still online and I will be taking it down within the next week.

Yea I see how that can happen. The AT does get the lions share of publicity. I'm hoping that mine will fair a bit better. Only time will tell. If it does it will not be a total loss though as I learned something new and advanced my skills.

I would have loved a PCT forum based on this software. PCT-L is so much more cumbersome than whiteblaze. Yahoo is a bit better. Prolly not much use for it now that I'm moving back east.

Moving to Fayetteville, NC, in early January. Hoping to get a winter hammocking trip or two in Yosemite before I take off. Tahoe just got snow!!

Ft Bragg? Pope AFB? I was there for a time. Nice Base. Stay away from Bragg BVD.
