    Speer Hammock Mods

Has anyone done any modifications to their Speer III? I am thinking about addin g an zipper to the bugnet instead of the velcro. Any comment? Thank you, Mule

The zipper would make getting in & out quieter & smoother.
I'm getting ready to add attachments for a trekking pole top spreader on a friend's Speer hammock that's about three years old.

More pictures that show the handle end on page 10 of my gallery.

Slowhike, I viewed all your pictures. You have indeed done some mods to your hammock and they are very interesting. Tomorrow I am going to work on my setup to either add spreader bar or pull outs. Thanks for the help. Steve
