I am considering purchasing (or making)an eno double or treklight. My questions are few. How wide are each of these hammocks? How wide are the sides?(the strips of different colored fabric)
it appears that the sides are sewn. Does this cause an uncomfortable "ridge" in the hammocks?

Not at all. The sewn seam is not really noticeable when laying in the hammock. In fact, the added width is welcome for laying on the diagonal.
Note, though, that some people don't like the spare fabric on the sides (floppiness). I am not bothered by it in any way, though.

I added last week the ENO double as my home sleeping arrangements. Feels great. I can't feel any difference in the change between the 2 fabrics.
Is that too much to ask? Girls with frikkin' lasers on their heads?
