    Exped Ergo Hammock Combi

I found these videos from fourdogstove.com and I'm really excited about this hammock. He reviews both the hammock and the tarp in two different videos. This looks like a sweet hammock.

If someone knows how to post a youtube video in the forums please do so with these videos.

    about the hammock: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5msjs...eature=related

    About the Tarp: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_lWMWLa0urw

Here is a link for a guys DIY version of this type of hammock:

I have a serious hammock envy right now.
It doesn't help that I'm an Exped fanboy already.

You just brought cocaine to the drug rehab assembly. Shame on you.

I thought Hennessy has a patent on snakeskins...? I wonder if Exped will get into trouble over that.

Hadn't seen fourdog's latest Exped Hammock videos. Thanks for sharing. Fourdog does a great job of explaining how the system works. Between the hammock and tarp there are so many interesting features.

This design has certainly peaked my interest. One down side is that it's kind of short, making it a poor choice for the 6'+ crowd.

I could have swore I saw a DIY version of this somewhere. Anybody try making one of these?

I've got a "right angle hammock" in the works, but have put it aside to do some other stuff. I'll get back to it. (Not quite the same as the Exped - it was inspired by the big Yucatan hammocks, where you sleep perpendicular to the line between the trees.)
