I always use my hammock when bike camping. Is there any other way?

Be glad to show you some of the local Kern Plateau ride and hang spots sometime though.

In the Process of Changing from Auto to Harley

I have been hammocking for about two years. I had some issues last fall.
Now, I have a shinny new computer in my shoulder, that keeps my heart beating. Medical Doctor told me not to drive, which is kind of okay. I would not want to hurt someone if I die behind the wheel or if my little device kicks me. So I am trading the Jag for a Harley, I was going to do it before, just a need now. I have a large dog, that helps me, I found a very light strong trailor to tow behind my bike. That will hold the dog, my hammock, some groceries, and a few other comfort things. We will soon be good to go.
There are lots of places I want to explore in British Columbia and Montana.

P.S. I owned a Harley back in the 60's before children. Which means I know what I am getting into.

I do take my GT in the dirt, although due to clearance and tupperware I generally don't go off trail.

If that race is at least 70% road, I might be willing.

We have been camping of our BMW's for a couple of years, wifes F650,my 1150gs, used to have a K1200LT was great two up but couldn't get off the pavement and got where it was to top heavy.. Planing a trip out west to GC nth. rim and everything in between Masa Verde and there. This will be the 1st time to try hanging and I'm gona rig a stand off the trailer to the truck or between the trl. ramp gate and the trk.. Back won't let me ride that far anymore so were going to trailer the bikes. I'll post pictures when I get the rig set up and tested before we leave.
