Before hanging I,ve been side sleeper, had not been able to sleep on my back comfortably probably from unnaturally flat surface on the bed for us humans.
After I converted to hanging I surprised myself about fact that me sleeps on back very well.
Got rid of bed soon after I changed to sleeping in hammock for full time.

That's me too, straight King Tut in hammock and bed. My wife laughs at me and knows when its bed time because I have "assumed the position." As long as I don't get hot or cold I don't move an inch.

Back sleeper is my "natural" position. On some too cold nights have woke up semi-side, semi-fetal position.
