    DD Frontline Eyelets?

    Greetings All,
I have a question for those of you that have a longer history with DD hammocks than myself. I now have two DD Frontline hammock, both I acquired used. One I've had for awhile and used several times and really like it. I just traded for another for my son. My question is this, the first one I got has four eyelets down each side, three toward one end and one on the other end ( I supposed that they were there to mount the DD under blanket to). The frontline that I just got has no eyelets but other wise the same. Is this a feature on a newer model or perhaps a mod?

    Thx,
    Semo

I have had my FL for two years. No eyelets, never heard of FL having them. Mine Does have web loop at each corner I use to attach UQ.

When I owned a Frontline I put some eyelets on each side to give me a way to tie out the sides - kinda like a Warbonnet Blackbird.
If yours also has some added velcro to keep the double layers closed better and some camo arrow shafts for bugnet spreaders maybe you have mine.
Or, maybe someone did a mod to your Frontline as well.

Yes Passinthru, it did have camo arrow shafts. I bought it off the forums here, it was probably yours then. At least I know the history of the eyelets lol. Did guying it out in an asymmetrical shape make it better? Even though I like the lay I get in it just fine.

If I remember correctly I don't think I ever used the eyelets. I didn't want the extra lines to mess with and the hammock was comfortable without any changes. I just have this problem that I think I have to 'improve' things.
