    Yeehaw the Teeewaaa

Should be in my hands in the next week or so. Pulled the trigger finally on my first under quilt and decided on a Te Wa Breeze. I am radiating with excitement.

Great choice - congrats! Never see these on the sale forum. Consider me envious!

Don't hear much talk about them either, which is actually a little surprising to me. I guess I'm guilty of not talking about them too.

Sad, because the one I have seems to be a very good quilt. It has kept me warm below its rating, packs small and light, and appears as well constructed as its competition. Excellent quilts; congrats on your new purchase Deadphans!

Yep! What Cannibal said "excellent quilts." I have a Breeze and it is my dedicated summer quilt. I put it inside my three season quilt and did a 5 degree hang nice and toasty. The Breeze does a good job by itself in summer. I doubt you'll be disappointed!
I like refried beans. That's why I wanna try fried beans, because maybe they're just as good and we're just wasting time. You don't have to fry them again after all.

I may treat myself to a breeze with an oz of overstuff for my bday this month. I figure it's better than buying a pad and having to upgrade!

Great to hear these positive reviews. Im a short guy at 5'6" so his 3/4 will work well for me when paired with my ccf foot pad.

I chose the Breeze because 90% of my backpacking is in weather conditions where lows do not dip below 35 - 40F, with a mean of around 60F. I figure when it is to get cooler than that for the approximate 10% other hikes I can just use my therm-a-rest chair sleeve with my therm-a-rest to add temperature rating and have it suspended from my suspension using some paracord I have lying around. The 10% hikes lows can be around the high 20's - 35. I think I should be fine as i have heard people getting the Breeze down to the low 30's, and I am a cold sleeper.

Still have to use my mummy bag as a top quilt though, been thinking about cutting the bottom, useless section, out to save weight and have more ease of use as a top quilt getting in and out.

But I can not wait to get my hands on this...
and yes, the owner is very nice and quick to reply.

Deadphans, just beware with that quilt on the temp rating. It's probably going go get you down farther! . I have one of Te-Wa's and I thought I got a summer quilt it was so light. But I had to vent it on several occasions. Enjoy the new downy goodness.

I know I am not selling mine. They will most likely be the last pieces I get rid of if I NEED to sell gear.

My Te-Wa has probably changed my backpacking comfort more than any other piece of gear. I have not had a single cold night in it. Absolutely love it. Very, very warm and about the same weight as a UL sleeping pad! Quality is top notch - you are sure to be pleased!
