I have a very light wgt nanatuk quilt that I have removed the foot bax and hung as a 3/4 underquilt.weighs about 14 oz not cheap but very effective. Nanatik sometimes has returns at a much reduce $. I also have the nanatuk over quilt with foot box. set up about 2# total and very warm but adjustable@ the gnome of blue island
Two Oware 1/4in pads take me down to freezing, one to about 45. I trimmed them 28in wide (30 would have been better) from hips to shoulders, and down to 18in wide at the foot.

A few nights ago I did some more test hanging. Night #1(~50F) using the HH SuperShelter opencell foam alone. A comfortable cool sleep. Night #2(~52F) added a layer of 1/4 ccf cut about 4" larger but the same shape as the ocf. Placed this layer between the ocf and hammock. Too warm at 52F.
JRB Nest. They now have a winter version also.
