    Have fun on your hike.

The only word of advice I'd give you concerning underquilts is to make sure that it is completely snug against the bootom of your hammock. Synch it up tight, get in the hammock and then reach between your hammock and quilt. There should be no space at all. Any gaps will create air pockets that will compromise you quilt's thermal factor.

Have fun and bring back pictures!!!

Good reminder about the UQ, thanks.

Any suggestions on whether to hang a bear (coyote/raccoon) bag? I'm undecided about this.

Always a good idea to hang your food. It keeps the critters from getting it. I am partial to the Ursack and just tying it to a decent sized tree. Finding a suitable branch is sometimes a challenge.

Have fun and as Chard mentioned take lots of pics for your trip report.

    Cheers

I had to adjust my UQ a few times once I got in the first night to get it nice and snug. Once I did, I packed the UQ as it was, made hanging it the next night that much easier. Thanks again.

Trip Report if anyone is interested.
