    I didn't get on those trailes that day as it was a trip with the girlfriend, and she's not a "hiker" (women are much more eager to indulge us in our hiking when they are 25 than when they are 58). I can show you some pictures of a cute little bed and breakfast in Medicine Park, though.

    The Refuge is prime for "Base Camp" hiking. Lots of trails to special places with some extreme terrain. Great bush whacking opportunites abound.

    A trip to Meers would not be complete without the Texas Toothpicks! Thanks for reminding me that I need to get my kids down there again!
