    Need help on tarp selection

I am looking at purchasing a tarp and those are the option. I only do camping from may till september. Up in Ontario during this season I will see rain and windy days. What would you guys suggest.

Mountain Equipment Coop silicone scout tarp
    size 6'11" x 9'6"
    Weight: 463g.
    Price : 69.00$ = 13% taxe.

Mountain Equipment Coop silicone guide tarp
    size: 9'6" x 13'
    Weight: 792g.
    Price : 109.00$ = 13% taxe.

    OES tarp deluxe

    size 10'10" x 8'8'
    Weight 365g.
price is 115$ +shipping of 15$ and maybe custom.

So...any suggestion on what to pick.

scout tarp is affortable, guide is huge at a competitive price, lots of room(maybe too much) big enough to fold ends to make doors.
OES Deluxe is awesome but more, light and no door.

    Let me know.

Good point MAD777. my hammock is a Hennessy asymmetrical.

I'm not sure what size your hammock is but that scout tarp looks too small for most hammocks.

The scout tarp is too small IMO. 10 feet is the shortest I'd go. Although the guide tarp is big, you can close the ends like doors. I camp with a couple members here that use the guide tarp. Can't go wrong with OES and IMO its better built than the MEC tarp. Not to say the MEC tarp won't do the job though. When I got my OES I did have to pay duties. The guide tarp is a good price for the size and MEC has a good guarantee so if you have to return it for any reason its not a problem.
