Trip Report: Ohio Hang Mar 30 Zaleski

Had a good turnout this weekend, meeting CDAdam, Thirtybear, Homerun, Mike, Ebola & son Eli, USMCStang's wonderful family. Friday was the perfect Spring day so Luke and I got some miles in hiking out to an overlook on the south loop. Later some nasty storms rolled through about 10pm but we all weathered okay. I left out early Sat. morning, the others had some plans for hike out to a falls and the Moonville tunnel.

Sad we missed this one. Looks like a great turnout.

Glad to hear everyone stayed safe and dry. The tornado sirens were going on and off for a couple hours Friday night.

Looks awesome, but where do you get all those beautiful trees? Where's the poison oak? Where's the tree that's 6 feet around roughly an acceptable distance from the dying 8 inch limb of the next closest? Seriously, looks like fun. Good job getting together.

Great pictures!!! Thanks for sharing. Hopefully I'll get to meet some of the people that I missed, on the April hang.
The pics remind me of out first time hang there (actually our first official hang) and boy was it spidery!!!! Those things covered the forest ground

I've been offline for a few days, but I took some pics while we were there. My wife and daughter had a blast, and they can't wait to get out to another hang!

My pics can be found here: https://plus.google.com/photos/10254...84149888387057

Here's a pic of my daughter behind the second waterfall we found on the Bushwhack...treeslayer helped her climb over so I could get the pic.
