    Whoopie on a whipped end?

I'm currently in the process of making Headchange4U's HH clone. I have the body made and I accordian whipped the ends and I have made whoopies. I've searched the forums trying to find a secure way to attach the whoopies the hammock and I can't find anything. I figure I could attach Whoopie hooks to the whipping but I'm cheap. I've wrapped the whoopie around the whipping but it just doesnt seem secure and I haven't hung it yet. Any ideas?

Fixing the whoopie around the gathered end iwith a Larks head knot is the most common way.

I give it as many wraps as I can before it touches the bury exit.

    (hope this makes sense)

I'm a little confused. I used 550 paracord to whip it. Are you saying I should remove that and the dead eye loop on the whoopies and then rewhip with the amsteel up to the adjustable bury? I redid the suspension in my ENO like you mentioned with the gathered end but I didn't know if it would be different with the accordion whip.

I whip the ends tightly with 7-8 wraps of 550 paracord and larkshead the whoopie sling behind the whipping which keeps it from slipping off. The whipping can't slip off because of the hem in the hammock end.

This one happens to be whipped with cheap nylon cord....

Awesome. Ok, that's the way I have it now. I was just concerned with slack and slippage with the dead eye coming over the whipping when there wasn't any weight in the hammock. Thanks for the pic. It lets me know I'm on the right track

After you weight the hammock once, the larkshead tightens up and I've never had one come loose until I intentionally pulled it open.
