    Thanks all. I'll be fiddling with it when I install whoopies this week hopefully. I'll report just how many times I get popped in the head by broken RL.

    And I very much want to hear more about the last sentence. Are bits of shiny (or dull) metal involved? Or were these ridgelines fixed, and so no more than 60% as strong as the raw cord?
