Sizing on the Incubator

I have 3 incubators all shorter than standard length. 2 of mine are 65" and work great! My 0* is 65" and fits me perfectly. I first thought that it might be short but sleeping on a diagonal I get more than adequate coverage. You will love the weight savings of your custom quilt!

Mark, which did you end up going with- the 20 or 40?

I got the 40° +2oz overfill. The majority of my backpacking lows are around 30-55°, so hopefully this will suffice with my 30° down sleeping bag up top. It was one of my most difficult gear decisions in a long time! I'm sure the 20° would have been a no-brainer, but I still want to tent camp in 0°-25° winter nights so I didn't feel the need for a colder UQ. We'll see how long the tent camping lasts

If I fall in love with hammocking and ditch the tent all together, I see a 0° Incubator/Burrow combo in my future. I think that would be a perfect year-round kit (40°TQ/UQ, 0°TQ/UQ)

So I just set my new gear up in the rain...fantastic! I am SOOOO glad I went with the full length. There's a little room for error covering your whole body, but after getting in I didn't notice an extra 9"...more like a couple on each end. Cozy warm!!!

After 3 shorter length ones, I got an Incubator 0*. I used it a couple months ago down to 15* & it could have easily gone below 0*. I much prefer the extra "protection" of the full length.
