    And a big thanks to Senator Paula Dockery for allowing me to bend her ear out on our hike and take up this issue. Thanks Rachel!

    Wait, what? You mean I might actually be able to go with the wife and hang in a hammock?!

    WOOOOOOOOOO! <Cough...cough>

    Sorry. Had to. Over it now.

    Thank you, very much, Samsara, for your efforts in this. As well as anyone else who helped!

    That is Fantastic! Thanks Dave for putting this in motion. I may now be running back to hang at Torreya pretty soon! Whooo Buddy!

    So many trees, so little time...
    We follow where the Swamp Fox guides,
    His friends and merry men are we;
    And when the troop of Tarleton rides,
    We burrow in the cypress tree.
    The turfy hammock is our bed,
    Our home is in the red deer's den,
    Our roof, the tree-top overhead,
    For we are wild and hunted men.

    Good news. I was thinking of sneaking out to Torreya State Park next weekend to try out my new BB.

    Edit: Any chance we can get a link to some sort of official statement to support this?

    thanks,

    Congratulations! Not to hijack, but is there a list on the forum of states that we've verified allow hammocking? And maybe the doc to back it up? Should we try to sticky one? 'Cause while I've hammocked in Illinois, Michigan and Indiana, I don't know if I've *legally* done it!

    Be great to be able to cite chapter and verse to any uninformed uniformed personnel...
