I have a TrekLight double in camo and am looking for a tarp. I like the looks of the Kelty Noah 9 or 12 other than the color. White sticks out too much for me in the woods. Is there a camo, green or brown tarp out there that won't break the bank or should I just pick up a cheap camo poly tarp somewhere?
The wilderness logics tadpole tarp is pretty awesome looking for the price and it has some really good reviews on here. I'm planning on getting one this summer.
I'm not sure about camo, but many of the vendors have tarps in brown or green. I just got a Wilderness Logics Big Daddy in brown and a Big Otter in green. Both are very nice colors. I had a Kelty Noah 9 & 12 for a few years and while it was a well made tarp, it didn't work for me. I prefer a cat cut rectangle tarp.
Check this tarp out. http://www.fedtacticaldirect.com/Chi...5_p_28505.html I just got one. Nice tarp and very reasonable. It has gotten many good reviews on the forum. They also have a bigger 12 x 14 if that's your cup of tea. Not the lightest tarp, but inexpensive and good quality. This company has had about the best price I could find. I think it can be found on Amazon at a good price too. Good luck!
I've got a Wilderness Logics Tadpole in Brown & an Outdoor Equipment Suppliers (OES) MacCat Standard in Black. Both are sweet. I think both vendors vary their available colors with that material they get.
