    Brunswick, GA anyone?

Hello all. I've been creeping on this forum for a few days now and finally decided it would be a little easier to sign up and be able to post than randomly lurk around. I have an ENO Singlenest that has served me well for quite a while, but I've been thinking about adding a ridgeline to it to make my life easier, and also to make the next step(rainfly, bugnet, better slings, etc) a little easier. Most of the spots in my immediate area are pretty much car camping, but I've taken a few trips to N GA(Panther Creek Falls) and look forward to hammocking in some new places. I've already picked up a ton of good info from y'all and look forward to tons more! See ya in the trees!

Welcome from Las Vegas. You are a very lucky man being so close to Cumberland Island! I lived in Valdosta from 2005 to 2009 and spent a lot of time on Cumberland. Too bad I wasn't hanging yet!

    Yup, formerly

Born and raised. Well, not actually born in Bwk, moved there when I was 1. Grew up there and SSI. My parents still live on the island. I still consider it my home although I've been gone 15 years.

Welcome! Finally, someone who understands gnats.

Next time you head north, bring a Willyburger with you, I'm buying.

Welcome aloft from SC. Check out the Greenwood, SC Goat Island Hang that will be the weekend of 18 May. It is supposed to be awesome. I have another engagement and am very disappointed I will be missing it. You can PM ChickenWing if you have any questions.
    Happy Hangin!!!

Welcome to the crazyness we call HF!
I spent a few days in Brunswick a while back and had a blast! Have not hanged there yet but crab fishing off the St Simons pier and Jekyll Island pier is our favorite family getaway!

I'm a transplant too. Originally from south NJ, lived in Jacksonville for about 7 years, moved here 14 years ago, and love the place. Next time I'm eating a Big Willie Steak and slapping away the bugs, I'll be sending some of the delicious good thoughts your way. hahaha

I'd love to, but unfortunately I'll be out of town for work. I'll actually be in Savannah that week/weekend( I work for a large music store with locations in both cities) but I'll be there strictly for business. I am however thinking about bikepacking home, throwing the hammock up somewhere along US 17 Saturday night to get some rest for the ride home.

Thanks for all the kind words and the warm welcome guys(and gals?)!
