    Sweet!

You've got me ready to get out and go also. Hanging with the Scouts next weekend and I'm beyond ready. Thanks!

I felt sympathetic scratches on my arms and legs watching you go on that overgrown trail in shorts and no-sleeves!

That Hickory, he's kinda hard on gear, ya think? Mora knife busted in part 1, hiking pole in part 2, waiting for the camp stool to fold next

You're really blessed to have a bosum-buddy from way-back with whom you head out into the woods for a week (and blessed to have a wife that supports that).

    Hi Shug,

Great trip report as always. Off-track hiking is the best. It always put's a smile on my face when I leave the tracks, sometimes can be a challenge but you usually get the whole place to yourself.

You speak truth having an old friend to do this with. We have known each other over 40 years we figured.
Meg gives me carte blanche))))) I am fortunate I agree.
You got to get there someday.

Thanks for #2 Shug and Hickery. I have a photo of that same gnarly stump at the Shortoff Bogg. Yep CYFFH = "Can you fish from here". Nice serpent!

Wish we could have met up!!!! Dang.
We laughed at CYFFH?....good use of a wood-burner.
It was a nice calm snake and we saw the trail marker whilst standing in "his with no shoulders" company.

Great finding that hiking pole, just when something goes wrong something else goes really right
