"Storm Doors" for BlackCat Catenary Tarp
I made a Blackcat cat tarp, and I need to create something that can close off the front and rear entrances. I live in sierra desert, so blowing sand can be an issue in the valley. In high country, drifting rain and snow can make its way in as well. I've see samiam's nifty design of two crossing triangles to seal up his warbonnet. I'm wondering if that's the best option.
Here's my Blackcat tarp.
Here's samiam's storm door design.
Her's a similar one by Bushman of Yukon
And I really like Frawg's 5 X 10 Pseudo Cat.
I'm looking for suggestions, plans, resources, etc. that will help me better weatherize my tarp.
Suggestions are greatly appreciated!
I made a smaller BlackCat and added tabs on the bottom edge to be able to close it off....it has worked very well for years.
Genius! That is fantastic, man. I will play with it tonight. This will do exactly what I need it to do, with little time, practically no money, and practically zero weight.
Thank you so much for your support, time, and effort!
