what is a good underquilt for the eno dn??

    Hello eno fans

After reading the eno section of hf, I decided to backoff from getting a wbbb for now, but now I'm thinking from graduating from just pad and sleeping blanket..to underquilt as well.

I noticed that eno has an underquilt, but it hasn't had the best reviews. I was wondering what underquilt would be the best for the eno..and please take into factor..wt, price, and transferrability to a possible wbbb in the future..should i get a 3/4 or whole.. I'm not planning on going winter camping..but fall camping possibly.

    Please let me know...thanks

    Pat

plenty of great quilt manufacturers on here-
the issues you have to think about are weight, cost, size and materials- specify those and we can probably point you towards a winner.

If budget is a concern then try out the synthetic underquilts at arrowhead equipment. (click on their 'store' link in the side menu.) (KickAssQuilts)
my hammock gear weights total: 2430g (~86oz)
    Winter: total 2521 (~89oz)
(see my profile for detailed weights)

    gram counter, not gram weenie!

+2, I have a KAQ Jarbridge (still 100$) and I use it on all 4 of my hammocks, including both of my ENOs

I've got the SN and the KAQ New River is the bomb. I'm sure it would also fit the DN perfectly too... Super good product!

My friend got a KickAss and I guess it is the bomb compared to his other underquilts.

BTW, REI has ENO DN on sale starting Fri for 44.99.
We are now ready to start our way down the Great Unknown. We are three quarters of a mile in the depth of the earth. We have an unknown distance yet to run, an unknow river yet to explore. What falls there are, we know not; what rocks beset the channel, we know not; what walls rise over the river, we know not. Ah, well! We may conjecture many things. The men talk as cheerfully as ever; jests are bandied about freely this morning; but to me the cheer is somber and the jests are ghastly. Powell 1869

For the double nests on this weekends sale, I was at rei today and talked to them. I bought a DN 2 weeks ago and said since the sale is coming up can i bring in my receipt and get the difference, they said yes!

So, I think this might work for you too! Order one now. Then go in on fri till the sale ends and get the discount back. When ordering online it take 2-3 days to ship so if you order by early morning you may have it by saturday. I ordered a bugnet and dry fly and got them in 2 days.

    hope this helps.
