I ordered on the 5th of may and still no shipping notice. I also ordered a SF and BBdl 1.7. Must be the tarp maybe that makes it take longer? I've started making beer can stoves to help me get through this. I read that here and it works to help pass the time while you wait!! hahaha

I ordered our 2nd 1.7 dbl BB on 4/30. On 5/10 I changed it to a lefty (which takes a little more time to make).

emailed Brandon on Mon. and asked if it was going out this week and he said he would try but it may be into next week.

We all ordered during spring camper buyer rush. Newbie mistake. Middle of winter orders probably have less wait.

So it looks like depending on what is ordered the wait is currently around 3-4 weeks to ship.

It is what it is. Brace for wait and keep a positive attitude. In the end the gear is great.

So it was only 9 days for shipment? Do you mean Wednesday the 16th? That should be good news for the rest of us...

Looks like the SLs are going out quicker than the DBLs at this point - good to know for anyone who is in a pinch.

Got my shipping notice this a.m.

Just over 4 weeks to ship.

I think it best to order from WB because you want the gear and not because you want the gear for specific trip.

Ordering the gear for the gear's sake seems to be more likely to bring joy.

Whereas ordering the gear for the gear's sake but also needing it for a trip at such and such a time can lead one to an unhappy feeling.

If the gear wasn't great such a business model doesn't really work.

But Harley Davidson has proven that customer loyalty and excellent product led to acceptance of lead times that other bike manufacturers could never get away with. In fact a certain mystique grew up around the wait itself.

Seems the model applies to the hammock industry as well.

Either way, I'm glad I waited. And I'm glad its inbound.
