Chalk up one for hammocking

About two years ago i went to the boundary waters on little gabrealla lake, we had a great week of camping and fishing. My friends were giving me some crap about sleeping in a hammock, but on the last nite about 4am it rained so hard you couldn't see 10 ft and when my friends were all huddled under the cook tarp cuz there was water running threw there tent, they understood why i sleep in a hammock when i pulled my top quilt from over my head, smilled at them and went back to bed and dry as a bone.

Good story. Maybe you can make hangers out of some of them. Then there are some people who are just beyond help.

I always gave my buddy chit for using a hammock. Thought he was just being anti-social lol.

Well after many years of tenting it in the bwca, I made the jump this year to a hammock. No more roots, rocks or hard ground for me. I'm hard headed, just not as hard and the ground. Glad I made the switch.
