    Hennessy Hammock?

Been looking at both the full and the 3/4 and I quite like prices. Made a smaller order off Marty and asked about how well these fit on the Hennessy Hammock Expedition but he was unsure and suggested I ask here. Anyone had any experience on the matter?

What brand of UQ are you considering buying? I have a HG Phoenix 3/4 UQ and it fits fine on the Hennessy Expedition Asym zip.

I would imagine that either size underquilt would work as long as it's not a bottom entry Hennessy hammock. I'm not super familiar with Hennessy, but from looking at the website, it appears that the hammock has side tie outs sort of like a WBBB. Lots of folks use full and partial length UQ with WBBB with no problem. Hopefully a Hennessy person will chime in.

It's the side zip version, and they do have the site tie outs.

I just got my full length last week, but I haven't put it on yet. I've got the HH Expedition side zip. I'll get out in the yard when I get home and play....I'll report back what I find out.

That spot you noticed in your vid would make me a bit nervous...looked like a pretty substantial gap along that side.

Not sure if the angle of the tie out was causing that or what, but like I said...that would make me nervous about a cold spot.

Thanks for the info (and video) Mwil3! I appreciate you taking the time and effort to do that.

But much like Owl I am concerned about that gap. Will you keep us updated on how that turns out?

I will let you know how it fairs. That was the first time I've ever put on an underquilt, so I'm sure there is some trial and error that needs to take place. I'm going to take it on the OK hang this weekend, so I'll see if some seasoned vets can help me out.
