looking to get a basic hammock set up - but with so many products out there, it's hard to decide what i want..

basic budget is around $200 or so for hammock, tarp, etc. etc.

i'm around 187cm (6' 2") tall and about 115kg (~250 lbs) at the moment, but dieting / working out with a goal to lose another 20kg, and maintain a weight of 95~kg (209 lbs).
Hi Teej. i got my DD set up from AMTC for under that. Might be an option. They have Amsteel advertised on their site. May be worth a try. Of course, it doesn't stop there you know-lot of fun but.

Welcome Teej from here in Perth . All my hammock gear has been purchased on the Interweb....would be nice if there were as many option for DIY and gear as our cousins in the States. Everyone seems to be really helpful and this is a great forum. Happy Hanging
