Trip Planning Help Middle Prong Wilderness

I am in the process of planning a 3 day trip and was just wondering if anyone had tackled my planned loop before.

We will be hiking mostly in Middle Prong Wilderness and will start at the parking area off of 215 I believe. We will hike up the trail to the top of Black Balsam and descend from there to Ivestor Gap (I have done this part before) we will then hike out the Fork Mountain Trail and return on the Green Mountain Trail and then back to the car via the MTS and a few side trips depending on time and energy.

Has anyone hike this trip with a hammock? How often do you pass campsites and what was the water situation like? I am expecting a strenuous trip but it doesn't look that far in terms of miles.

I have hike the Art Lobe and all around graveyard fields. My understanding is this is not a well traveled area which I love and am looking forward to the trip but just wanted to try and gather as much info as possible. Thanks in advance for the help. As usual I will post a detailed trip report with pics when we get back in a few weeks.

I am going to give this a bump. Just looking for some trail knowledge or any potential issues with finding places to hang.
