I had problems with the Knotty method on my new hammock but it is the 90 inch wide. When I tied my first hammock with 60 inch ripstop the Knotty method worked fine. My first Tablecloth I gathered the ends and whipped using pink 1/8 shoreline from Walmart's boating section. The new one I used the two ply masons line they sell in the hardware section.

I've only been out once this year and I used my old DIY ripstop hammock BUT I could just as easily used the tablecloth, just didn't want to take my BED out with me so it would be clean and ready when I got home. They are a bit heavier but I usually car or bike camp anyways so that's no problem for me.

You'll either need a mosquito free area OR a bug net, other then that I don't know why you couldn't use it.

Okay Okay Okay.... You all have tempted me too much. I just ordered 3 60" table cloths for me, wife and kids. Thinking I'll channel the ends. Just trying to decide on a suspension method now. To many to choose from. Any seem to work better with these? Any people like more than other? (whoopies, I know, I know)

This is my go to hammock.

Throw a bugnet on it and you're set.

Definitely not my go to, but I'd use it over my ENO DN. I like my DIY Ripstop a lot better and of course my WBBB.

    It's almost here

Just checked USPS Tracking. My soon to be Tableclothfactory hammock has arrived at the Monroe Post Office early am and is out for delivery. Looks like I'm doing some whipping and making a set of Whoopie Slings tonight.

    Cotton Tablecloth ??

I just noticed on tableclothsfactory.com that they have cotton table cloths in 60x126. Has anybody tried to hammock one of these? They are 20 bucks a pop and come in white, ivory and black. Curious.

You're welcome. Glad it's working well for you and the kids. It's the same whipping method Warbonnet uses so I'm gonna guess the difference is either the fabric or the freedom of a netless hammock.

Back to tablecloths.com...here's what I did with a tablecloth from them.
