    Is there a weight ratings on the tafetta tablecloth material? I would like to know if it is the same as an ENO tafetta hammock, im 255 lbs and im totally confident in my ENO Dbl nest support, im ready for a DIY 11' hammock, possibly dbl, layer

    I know people a lot bigger than you using tablecloth hammocks. I'd guess they're good up to at least 300 lbs. The fabric 2.6 oz./square yard so that's pretty robust. A Doublenest weighs 20 oz., while a 60 x 126" should weigh 15.1 oz.

    I am just over 300lbs and I have had no trouble with my tablecloth hammock. I made one for a guy who is closer to 400 lbs and he didn't have any problems when I was showing him how to use it. He slept in it a few nights no problem. Long term at 400lbs who knows. My wife gets in hers with her friends.
    Its a sturdy hammock!

    I've slept in mine with over 400 lbs--probably close to 450. I am around 250, and I've never felt any lack of confidence in the tablecloth fabric.
