Great! Here's wishing for some fast shipping!

Is there a fee for this? Do you just pay online? I would like to try and make Friday night, would have to leave about 5 am Saturday(kid stuff), so that would probably be irritating to the other hangers. Interested in a winter hang. FYI, you are allowed to use the VT State Parks while closed for the season. Just no water, or facilities, other than what you bring. As long as you can find parking outside.
If it moves, you can eat it.

There is no real fee. I have already made and paid for the reservation for the site. We will be taking up a small collection to pay for firewood and such, which will be voluntary.

We would be more than happy to have you! Should I mark you a 'YES' or a 'MAYBE' for attendance?

Thank you for the good information on the VT parks. We will have to look into it as plans for a winter hang develop. We did a weekend hike n' hang to Stratton Pond last winter. Maybe we will do something like that again this winter. A few of us have already expressed a desire for a winter hang, we just have not started working on any detail yet.

Maybe for now, I need to check with the fam what is going on Friday tonight. I just don't want anyone to be irritated by my early departure. I organize similar events and I know how that can rumble the dust a bit. Even though I try to be quiet, my size makes that more difficult than for most. I bought a DD hammock quite some time ago and finally used it recently. Wow, have I been torturing myself for no reason. I also learned I should have refreshed myself with Shug's video that I saw over a year ago first. But all was good in the end. The stop at the ground was only embarrassing.

I hope I can make, I really want to see a blackbird and a dangerbird if there is one there.
If it moves, you can eat it.

I don't think you have to worry too much about upsetting anyone. We are all understanding, besides, we will all be in hammocks! It will take some doing to wake us up!

There will definitely be a flock of WBBBs there, maybe a DB but I don't know what everyone is bringing.

I just found out about your group , I would like to participate next time.

I wouldn't be able to make it this time till about 11pm Sat night , not ready for a 2 mile dark hike alone to unfamiliar camp.
How long will everyone be there on Sunday?

We are more than happy to have you along for this or any other trip.

I don't know about anyone else, but I will be there until early Sunday afternoon I think.

FYI, depending on which route you take, the hike in is not very difficult and could be done in the dark.
