I will hang my head in shame for the duration of the weekend and will present myself for flogging. I have the images up on my computer now and will have a gallery before the hang.

The good thing for everyone is that someone else will have to be the photographer this year. It appears that both of my bodies were having issues and the hang was the last time I was able to use either of them. They are now dead and I'm left with a P&S. So I hereby bequeath the title of Group Photographer to whomever desires it.

Cary, I'll have my camera with me also. I'm sure between the two of us, and whoever else brings one, we'll have plenty of pics. Don't sweat it.

I have posted the locations of the kayaking trips on the spreadsheet. If there is interest for a Monday paddle, I will be glad to participate. There are many locations to choose from but I will be glad to host the posted trips. There are entrance fees at the Juniper Springs and Alexander Springs parks. There is also a shuttle fee at Juniper Springs. Please plan accordingly. No shuttle is needed for Silver Springs. We can set up our own shuttle for Alexander Springs. I will bring a boat trailer and roof rack. With the two of them, I can haul eight boats. I can only carry four people in my car though.

Plan on packing a lunch/snacks and drinking water for each of these trips. Silver Springs is a bit of a drive to the put in. It will most likely be an all day event. There are stores and gas stations along the way. It will be possible to do some resupply on the way back.

Everyone will need to wear a PDF while on the water and have the required safety gear (light, signaling device [whistle] and PFD).

There will be a mandatory safety briefing prior to launch.

(This will be posted on both threads)

Ok, everyone. It looks like I'd done more than I thought. At least I'd whittled the almost 700 images down to a little over 100. So here they are. No processing. You get them as I took them. Looks like one of the bodies had a dirty sensor so pardon the spots on some of the images. Usually that's something I'd clean up. I don't know what's in here, I just spit out a quick and dirty gallery. Might be dupes. Might be in a crazy order. Might be some that make you scratch your head and wonder what the heck I was thinking. Regardless, they're here. Hopefully I captured the essence of the weekend.

Hmm, you don't see something like this? I set the nav area to be always on (I think). Try running your mouse near the bottom of the image to see if the toolbar appears.

It's a Flash-based gallery. Do you have Flash installed?

It may be an aspect ratio thing; my laptop (which has this problem with several common programs) didn't want to display the bottom portion of your screenshot.

However, I was able to browse through them by using the arrow keys on my keyboard. Right arrow key advanced, left reversed. Don't know if that's the stock setting for Flash or not, though...

    Great photos, by the way!

I can see all pics. You may have to remove the icon thingy on the bottom of the screen since there is no slidemajigger on the side.
Great pics and I love the detail pics as well.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you
