    And Samsara is right. Everybody (okay, almost everybody) likes a well behaved, leashed dog. Nobody likes a nuisance.
    Like always, you have to be aware of the environment for them and keep them safe. From the bears, gators, curmudgeon kids and rambunctious seniors.
    Sandykayak had three little dogs in her hammock with her. With the temps in the 20's, that sounded like a great idea!

    Add my name to the list...

    I'm already planning some paddling trips. One each day. I'm even thinking of a couple of lake sessions. Woo Hoo!

    Lots of folks signing up for this. Could be a large group. I wonder what the record is for hammock campers in one area.

    I would refer you to the FH2 trip report. I'm sure there's a head count in there somewhere.
    (I think we were around 85 last year.)

    So many trees, so little time...
    We follow where the Swamp Fox guides,
    His friends and merry men are we;
    And when the troop of Tarleton rides,
    We burrow in the cypress tree.
    The turfy hammock is our bed,
    Our home is in the red deer's den,
    Our roof, the tree-top overhead,
    For we are wild and hunted men.

    Ran across a mention about The Hug a Tree program by the NASAR, National Association for Search & Rescue. http://www.nasar.org/page/67/Hug-A-Tree

    Just wondering if there may be a certified presenter who will be at the hang and able to give the presentation?
