    Devils River Hammock Hang

Hi guys, been awhile since I visited. Here is a photo from a canoe trip on the Devils River back in March (2012). I was the envy of our group with my simple ENO setup. While they were all fighting with the rocks, I was nice and cozy in my Double Nest. Thanks to all the great tips here on HF, my trip couldn't have been any better.

No trees. It was my worst night ever in a hammock. Extreme wind and even rain and my noisy tarp flapped all night long.

I was up in the Fontana Dam area of the GSMNP last weekend and night two was spent at Site #13 .5 miles from Gregory Bald, must see btw. Great trip. Used my full diy setup and introduced someone new to the backcountry.
