    solo car camp. this is milk ranch point, facing east on the mogollon rim in central arizona. six feet from a 900' drop.. yikes!

    Hanging on a French Broad

    This is my setup minus the tarp so that the river would show up in pics. Hanging about five feet from the edge of the French Broad River near the NC/TN line.

    Arguing with an engineer is like wrestling a pig in the mud. Your not going to win, and after a while you realize the pig is enjoying it.

    Nice spot. I envy you. I cant wait to get a break from school and hit the trails. Although, I'm not sure if I would have hung so close to the river. Paranoid of the river rising abruptly from rains up stream.

    Funny you should say that. The river was up about 2.5 to 3 feet when I took this pic so I had a little more "front yard" later in the week.
