a quick question about the tablecloths.

it says that they are made of crinkle taffeta. so is this polyester? the big question i have is can you do the mineral spirit/ silicone treatment to it? what would happen?

It is a polyester taffeta material that weights about 2.5 - 2.6 oz/yd^2. So it's not the most ideal candidate for the DIY silicome waterproofing treatment.

The fibers are thicker and the weave looser than ripstop nylon. I don't think a DIY sil treatment would work too well.
