    Just pulled the trigger!

Just pulled the trigger on a BlackBird 1.1 double! It says on backorder, but I'm excited none the less!

Great pickup! Congrats! Been eyeballing that 1.1 for some time now but love my other BB's!

You won't be disappointed. Just spent a night in mine last weekend. Mighty comfortable. Looking forward to the day I can afford an underquilt though.

    ME TOO ME TOO!!!

I'm a little excited if you can't tell. I just placed my order for the 1.1 DL as well. I was waiting a while for it to be on the website and it finally showed up. Now all I have to do is wait for the hammock to come... How hard can that be?

    welcome to the BB clan.

Many of our vendors have sales as XMas gets closer and you can get some great deals on TQs, UQs and other gear

    Congratulations!

You now own the benchmark from which all hammocks are now measured against.
Year ago when my HH Light Racer was failing I came here and asked what hammock now. I'd been out of the loop for a while and many posters said 'get a Blackbird'. I'm glad I did. So many nights of peace and restitution in one. After a while I added a Traveler, another classic hammock.
Brandon is an American success story and I'm very proud to admit I own 5 of his hammocks.

Thanks guys! After a night in my ENO DN last night with my bug net turning out to be too short and getting a bad lay, I'm more ready than ever for it to come! I know I have a bit to wait though.
