    Smile 2012 Fall Northern Hang

I think it's about time we crank it full speed and get another Northern Hang planned out.

Like all the previous fall hangs the location will be on the Superior Hiking Trail.
Whether your a veteran or a noobie, everyone is welcome to come!

What weekends can people make? My suggestion is we do it October/November. But, it's all up to everyone. Once we get a bunch of suggestions we can throw up a poll and get something locked in.

Peek fall leave time would be fun. Last year it was kinda early though if I recall. I think it was around last week of September. I'd be up for early/mid October preferably without snow. There's plenty of that stuff for the winter hang.

I am off work October 20th - 28th... a Fall Hang would fit ever so nicely during that time frame!

Last year we did it Oct. 14-16th.

What about November 2-4th? It would be right after the Winter Camping Symposium which means some people that were attending that could potentially make it to the hang too. Plus, the colder weather would be nice and we might see some snow too.

I can only make it late October early November because I'll be on a hiking trip for 15 days in September and December-February I will be really busy with something.

But, it's all up to you guys.

Deer hunting starts Nov. 3rd up there and lasts until Nov. 18th so you may want to avoid those dates for two reasons. First you wouldn't have to wear blaze orange and worry about stray bullets, and secondly if it's not during those dates us deer hunters could come to the hang too .
