    At Academy

I don't know if this has been posted before, but I went down to my local Academy store fully prepared to spend $19.95 on a Byer's Traveller to do some speeramentin with so's I don't booger up a hammock that works and found that they have three colors on sale for $9.98: Chrome Yellow, Firecracker Orange, and Plum Crazy.

Of course, I went with the Plum b/c I think it goes well wth the stylish Bishop Bag I got at Walmart a couple weeks ago.

But if you want a 10 buck hammock that can double as an aerial recognition panel, the Chrome Yellow or Firecracker Orange is just the ticket.

Can't beleive I talked myself out of buying two-----

    Well, to quote Scarlett O'Hara:

    "Tomorrow is another day."

    Man that's perfect.
My wife's family all live in Katy and she will be over there tomorrow. I might go with her and stop by academy to check it out...
    Thank you

I've got the $20 Byers Traveler, had it for a long time and like it. It is small and stuffs in a side pocket, I usually use it for a napping hammock or a backup.

Sarge, did you find these in the camping section of the Academy? It's best for me if I can go straight to the right part of the story. If I'm wandering up and down the aisles, well, I just get myself in trouble ... Go in planning to spend 10 bucks, come out with a receipt for $193.50 in my pocket ...

I found them at the store at I10 and Grand Parkway. I've been to two other stores and they don't have them. I went n yestereday and bought another The only ones they have left are the chrome yellow and firecracker orange.

Also found some 50" x 60" fleece blankets for $2.95.

All of a sudden, I've got 4 hammocks., 2 bugnets (and one coming), 3 tarps & 4 stoves.
